Maison de Champagne Mercier EPERNAY

Maison de Champagne Mercier

Presentation

Merci who? Merci Mercier.

Visionary, revolutionary even, Eugène Mercier himself had the House's 18 kilometres of cellars built in 1871, which could be visited by four horse carriage!

His genius even took him to the Universal Exposition in 1889, where he was awarded second prize for his gigantic wine barrel, beaten only by the Eiffel Tower!

Perhaps that is why, ever since, Mercier Champagne has had a special attachment to Paris... From Champagne capital of the world to the love capital, it's love at first sight!

Highlight:
A panoramic lift and tour of the vaulted cellar in a little train.
